With a classical feel, the Carline print coat cuts a striking figure — especially when layered over the Carline print slip dress. Fastened at the waist with eight pearlesque buttons and loops, the silhouette is simple yet romantic, with long sleeves and a draping ankle-length hem.
A picture of wearable opulence, our Carline story offers a lighter and looser evening print option. Made from fluid stretch satin silk, the hand-painted artwork depicts muted fresco-style motifs, composed in-house then print in Italy, combining hazy pastels with a stronger hue at the hem. Featuring three dresses, a coat and two headscarves, united by contemporary silhouettes that can be co-ordinated or worn alone.
Made in Italy, the luxurious yet lightweight fabric was chosen for its ease of wear: breathable and flowing, for comfort even in warmer climates.

Process
Temperley prints are painstakingly hand-painted in-house. Motifs are collaged onto the body then lovingly engineered into compositions that work in harmony with the garment’s panelling, ensuring the printed fabric flows flawlessly across seam joints when the garment is constructed. The process is both meticulous and spontaneous, with an outcome that is truly unique and artisanal.
Materials
Committed to creating unique and original textiles, the Temperley team designs lace and woven fabrics in-house at our atelier, which are then crafted by our trusted partners at expert mills across the globe. We utilise best quality Italian tulle, soft and sheer, perfectly structured with a flawless drape. Another staple material includes luxurious silk, woven to create a lustrous effect, with a smooth and radiant finish, perfect for eveningwear.
