A carefree choice for day or night, the Gia off-shoulder mini dress plays with proportion, adding a sense of drama to a classic style. A smocked bodice and bow detail contrasts fluted sleeves and a full, pleated skirt, creating a freedom of movement that makes you want to dance the night away.
Vibrant and dynamic, the Gia story features a striking stripe print consisting of tessellating heraldic chevron motifs. Hand-painted and composed in-house, with mid-century influences, evoking ‘50s and ‘60s Florence: the height of la Dolce Vita.

Process
Temperley prints are painstakingly hand-painted in-house. Motifs are collaged onto the body then lovingly engineered into compositions that work in harmony with the garment’s panelling, ensuring the printed fabric flows flawlessly across seam joints when the garment is constructed. The process is both meticulous and spontaneous, with an outcome that is truly unique and artisanal.
Materials
Committed to creating unique and original textiles, the Temperley team designs lace and woven fabrics in-house at our atelier, which are then crafted by our trusted partners at expert mills across the globe. We utilise best quality Italian tulle, soft and sheer, perfectly structured with a flawless drape. Another staple material includes luxurious silk, woven to create a lustrous effect, with a smooth and radiant finish, perfect for eveningwear.
