  • Social Media Specialist - March 2021

    TITLE: Social Media Specialist

    REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

    Overall Purpose:

    Combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue. Works with Marketing and Ecommerce teams to create innovative social media campaigns.

    Responsibilities:

    • Creates marketing and social media campaigns, strategies, including budget planning, content ideas (weekly/monthly plans) and implementation schedules that drive brand awareness and engagement
    • Utilising marketing and social media management skills to architect an enhance Company social media presences, including interacting with customers
    • Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including Creative Director, Marketing and Ecommerce, PD, Design, bridal etc.
    • Provides training and guidance to the business on social media implementation best practices and strategies
    • Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
    • Reports progress to CEO and Creative Director on regular basis
    • Grows and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube
    • Research and monitor activity of company competitors
    • Ensure content drives traffic online and offline, e.g. content aligns with product drops and merchandising
    • Manage uploading and scheduling all social media content daily, weekly across all platforms.
    • Manage 2 main social media accounts: Temperley London and Temperley Bridal
    • Respond to comments, questions, direct messages to ensure brand messaging is filtered across all touch points. Pass on customer service queries to web and retail teams
    • Ensure all social assets are saved correctly on the server and digital platforms
    • When required work with graphic designer to create additional assets
    • Plan and capture brand live events on social media e.g.: London Fashion Week
    • Ensure all product content, with its casting and styling for web shoots, are on brand and in-line with overall company marketing strategy

    Social Media Marketing Skills and Qualifications:

    • Degree in Communications or Marketing
    • One to Two Years of Experience with Social Media Management
    • Competent in Marketing, Content Creation, Copywriting, Graphic Design, and Strategy, Data Collection and Analysis
    • Advanced Technology / IT Skills
    • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-Motivated
    • Creative Problem-Solving Skills
    • Proven experience with Major Social Media Platforms and building followers and engagement on organic channels

  • Shipping Specialist - March 2021

    TITLE:                 Shipping Specialist

    REPORTS TO:          Director or Supply Chain                                 

    Overall Purpose:

    Primarily responsible for the coordination of shipping & logistics activities across the Temperley global supply chain; providing logistics expertise to internal departments, ensuring adherence to shipping policy; and, maintaining administrative compliance in relation to import/export function across the supply chain.

    Responsibilities:

    • Booking domestic and international shipments, follow to POD
    • Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments and ensure documentation is in accordance with the Temperley SOPs and the rules and regulations of the respective country of destination;
    • Maintain up to date understanding of Customs rules and regulations that apply between any two markets, Intrastat and triangulation;
    • Liaise with third party partners to track shipments made and related freight information to give the business swift transit times and visibility of goods shipped;
    • Liaise with EXW/ FOB/ FCA wholesale clients to receive pick up, delivery and shipping notifications;
    • Run reports and check for outstanding collection/ deliveries from vendors, ecommerce, retail, wholesale, press, production departments - liaising with the carriers and resolving
    • Maintain databases and systems accurately so that reports can be obtained relating customer/vendor/carrier performances, shortages and losses; KPI regular reviews
    • Escalate issues and problems accordingly to your freight account Manager and follow through to close
    • Preparation of Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, GSP documents, submission of export declarations.
    • Application for the ATA Carnet, COO, ATR, EUR1 in London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI & ICCI)
    • Maintain up to date ROW/EU Customs Tariffs data for in-season despatch.
    • Providing requested logistics documents and reports for external auditing
    • Daily UK customs inbound shipment clearance via FedEx GTS, investigating inbound shipments against any duties payable.
    • Holding regular carrier, forwarder service review meetings with account managers
    • Chambers of Commerce, renewing ERF, Evidence Declaration, Authorised Signatories annually – performing these renewals
    • USDA Fish and Wildlife, renewing Import License annually - understanding the process
    • Planning ahead for international shipping requirements with relevant departments about compositions from species especially endangered species.
    • Wholesale RTV’s – booking returns to relevant warehouse/office location, follow up with administrative receipt
    • Co-ordinate wholesale and retail despatches with 3PL’s
    • Train 3PL teams on any changes to agreed SOP
    • Review KPI regularly with 3PL’s
    • Maintain stock integrity at all 3PL locations on ERP

    KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Advanced excel/numerical skills
    • Working knowledge of Prima
    • Knowledge of air and ground freight transportation
    • FedEx, DHL and UPS portals for shipment booking
    • International retail industry experience
    • International customs experience
    • Multi-channel fulfilment experience desirable
    • 3PL/4PL model experience desirable

  • Seamstress - March 2021

    TITLE:                 Seamstress

    REPORTS TO:          Creative Director                                  

    Overall Purpose:

    To make clothes by following the guidance of Design and Product Development.

    Responsibilities:

    • To measure clients and fit garments to them using various tools and equipment including fabric, needles, thread and sewing machines.
    • To lengthen or shorten garments to fit clients properly or replace zippers.
    • Take body measurements / make garments to a specified size
    • Draw the outlines of the dress on the fabric, as per the measurements taken, and then cut the fabric using a pair of scissors. Once all the pieces of the dress are cut, the seamstress attaches the pieces together with pins before sewing them by using a sewing machine.
    • Make finishing touches to the garment by sewing the buttons, zips or hooks etc

    KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • Ability to sew.
    • Thorough knowledge of zippers, fabric, buttons, linings and patterns.
    • Manual dexterity and strong eye-hand coordination.
    • Must be attentive to detail, demonstrate strong self-control, and be able to work well independently.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with clients to determine their needs

  • Wholesale Internship

    We are looking for a passionate and innovative Wholesale Intern to join the Sales Team for a minimum duration of 6 months. This is a unique opportunity to assist in the day to day running of a fast-paced department and to begin your fashion career within the field of Sales.

    You will be assisting with all areas of Sales including administration, sales orders, invoicing, reporting and customers care. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to get involved supporting our team and developing their own knowledge.

    Responsibilities:

    • Processing a high volume of product orders
    • Processing invoices for sales transactions
    • Checking prices and contracts are up to date
    • Reporting monthly sales results to the sales team
    • Supporting the sales team with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives
    • Taking phone calls from customers
    • Communicating internally important feedback from customers
    • Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails

  • Retail Internship

    To assist the Temperley London sales team to offer a high standard of personal and

    professional service to customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • To book bridal appointments and fittings via phone and email.
    • To manage bridal appointments on day to day basis and perform all the necessary admin post the appointment.
    • To assist in maintaining the company standard to maximise sales.
    • To greet, serve and advise clients, giving the best service possible at all times while introducing additional and alternative sales.
    • To be fully conversant with the product range including product alterations, stock availability.
    • To maintain the highest standards of house keeping within the branch.
    • To acquire a basic knowledge of visual merchandising.
    • Ensuring stock levels are well maintained
    • To be aware of the company policy on customer complaints, returns and exchange procedures.
    • Handling customer complaints or handing customers on to management
    • To be able to work on own initiative and on any specific mission or project as defined by your manager.
    • To handle payments in all forms.
    • To register all relevant transaction details onto the database.
    • To be proficient at creating and updating client files, managing own client book.

    Skills/requirements/experience
