Alice Temperley and jewellery designer Annoushka Ducas come together to design a new fine jewellery collection. Leaders in their respective spheres, Alice and Annoushka share parallels in their professional and personal lives – inspired by nature and romanced by narrative, they are both passionate about detail, take pleasure in adornment and love to throw a wild party at home in the rural British countryside.

Their similar, yet unique outlooks have led to a wearable new jewellery collection for a modern bride - inspired by British Bluebells and treasured vintage pieces from Alice’s jewellery box - reimagined in recycled 18ct gold, by Annoushka. The dove, a talismanic symbol of love, cherished by the Victorians, has been exquisitely wrought as a winged silhouette which adorns a range of transformable stud earrings, statement chandeliers and a striking necklace – all crafted in polished 18ct yellow gold and set with a single, sapphire on the reverse, to mark the tradition of “something blue”. Further detail is brought about by freshwater pearls - said to symbolise purity and hope and white diamonds, the most ancient of all gemstones, adds the shine – together the feeling is elegant, yet free spirited.

True to Annoushka’s intrinsic approach, the designs are a pleasure to have and hold, moving with fluidity and lightness and delicately refracting light. These are joyful pieces to be danced in, to be cherished and worn again - a detail which reminds you of Alice’s bohemian influence and Annoushka’s ability to balance all the senses.

Two statement cocktail rings bring the party to the proceedings - the first, inspired by Alice’s love for shining disco balls, sits high on the hand and includes both facetted aquamarines and smooth freshwater pearls, held in place by two doves. The second, which feels distinctively antique features a bezel set, oval shaped aquamarine at its centre, framed on its side by freshwater pearls and joined by two doves, whose folded wings form the outer framework and beaks which seem to be “drinking” from an aquamarine pool.

Both Annoushka and Alice believe that the pursuit of luxury shouldn’t impact people or planet – both businesses are committed partners of Positive Luxury and the collection has been crafted in 100% recycled 18ct gold and uses ethically sourced gemstones.

‘I have always been a big fan of vintage jewellery and designing these beautiful bridal pieces in collaboration with Annoushka inspired by my very own jewellery trinkets was a total joy. I am looking forward to seeing this collection complementing all the brides who can finally celebrate their big day."

Alice Temperley MBE

"Designing a collection collaboratively is always a journey, you push each other and see things from the other's perspective - with Alice we have the same outlook on bridal today, it's about detail and beauty but also about wearbility - we want brides to be romanced by the designs, but also adore them so much, they want to wear them everyday."
