Nature and Britishness combine in our Seredipity bridal collection.
Two threads that weave through the world of Temperley, nature and Britishness combine in our latest bridal collection: Serendipity.
Inspired by the romantic beauty of the English garden, it’s a love letter to flora: daffodils, cherry blossoms, dahlias, rhododendrons and camellias, rendered in embroidery throughout this season’s offering.
The blooms and blossoms are introduced unexpectedly — from a playful peek to sublime swathes. A stylised scallop edge, cascading vines descending into a hem, engineered wreaths, dual-tone sequinwork, georgette appliqué, folded organza petals.
Signature Temperley, the collection is a fusion of eras and aesthetics — set against a delicate palette of pinks, ivorys, platinum, almond and pearl shades.
Inspiration comes from across the decades — ethereal Grecian sash ties, Art Deco embellishment, a touch of ‘30s glamour, full-skirted silhouettes of the 1950s, trending high-low hemlines.
Traditional techniques meet modern fabrications and striking silhouettes. Hand-embroidered cordwork, lattice stitch embroidery and beading — giving the appearance, at a glance, of a lace — on soft Italian illusion tulle, organza with delicate light georgette appliqué and intricate embellishment, the liquid movement of luxurious satin in sensuous curves.
Our new elegant French cotton lace, produced on a century-old “leavers” lace loom, is the canvas for our corseted bustier Lacey Dress — visible inner construction and boning within the bodice keeping this traditional silhouette looking modern and new.
Drama in the form of full tulle godets, giving movement and fullness, panels of artwork and long, flowing trimmed lace trains — statuesque and statement.
The finest details — pearl beading, iridescent navette resin crystals, alabaster clasps, bugle beads, delicate lace trim and crystal buttons — to finish. Fastidious and painstaking workmanship, creating magical and timeless masterpieces.
A hero of the collection is the Jasmine Dress, based on Spring Summer 2021’s Candy style. Incredibly glamorous, offering an elegant choice from ceremony to dancefloor, it features a sweetheart neckline, puffed tulle sleeve and a dramatic cut-out back.
From show-stopping gowns to more simple and classic shapes, designed to be worn with our intricately embellished Gisella Cape, made from silk chiffon with an embroidered tulle yoke, to a new wedding three-piece.
A natural evolution of our Temperley tailoring, our Everleigh Suit elevates the classic tuxedo. With a shawl collar, distinctive ‘40s shouldering and a nipped-in waist, wide legs and a fitted waistcoat, it has a fresh, flattering and feminine feel.
Deeply romantic, classic but unique, these are timeless pieces for modern brides.
