The Winter 2014 Collection
The start of a new and exciting era for Temperley; the attitude for Winter 2014 is much savvier and sexier.
Luxurious layering of separates, rich tailoring and sexier shortened lengths have given the collection increased depth for its Designer positioning covering day, cocktail and evening wear. Intricate pattern, texture and colour are key. Inspired by the ornate detail of Spanish cathedrals and Byzantine architecture; prints echo mosaics, laser cutting emulates stained glass and embroidery is inspired by Chasuble garments. Layered daywear pieces and wearable silhouettes instill a heady romance and celebrate the opulence of another era. Colours mix shades of cobalt, navy, grey, oyster, ochre and rose and are peppered through bold graphics and bright floral patterns.
Temperley weaving a little bit of romantic folk-law into everyday life with an overall savvier, funkier and very wearable feel.
The Winter 2014 was shown during London Fashion Week at the Savoy Hotel, 2pm 16th February.
