Artists at the Temperley London Store: Alice Mary Lynch

The small army of rabbits, dogs and geese that line the walls are the handiwork of Alice Mary Lynch who describes her creations as; ‘glittering little warriors who watch out for us in the real world’. To celebrate of the opening of the Flagship in Mayfair, an intricate set of dolls were made up dressed in their very own Temperley outfits. The ‘Parade a Deux’ dolls are dressed in adorable his and hers trousers constructed from the Alice by Temperley Spring Summer 13 Sovereign print.

As well as her work with Temperley London, Alice Mary Lynch has also taken part in worked with John Galliano and created costume for short film.

Off cuts from the Temperley London studio were used to create outfits for all of the dolls. the Alice by Temperley Puccinella print is used here.

Inspiration for the Alice by Temperley Spring Summer 13 collection came from the Ballet Russe, a theme which continues with these dancing dolls.
