Exclusive Jacquetta Wheeler Wedding photos

“I have known Jacquetta for about 12 years so I know what dress shapes she likes the best. We started with what suits her body shape and then thought about how she wanted to feel on the day. She wanted it to be soft and delicate with lace detail inspired by a 200 year heirloom - a beautiful lace veil which originally belonged to Lady Frances Nelson. We started with some drawings before designing personal embroidery designs for her – hidden messages and initials to make the design extra personal. The panels for the veil and the dress took a month of hand work with about four people working constantly on it resulting in a dress with work so fine and intricate. I thought she looked absolutely stunning - a dream bride.”

- Alice Temperley

Alice worked closely with her friend and muse, Jacquetta Wheeler to create a wedding dress with a soft and delicate design made from finest silk and lace. In a wedding described by Vogue US as ‘picture-perfect’ Jacquetta wore the bespoke gown to marry Jamie Allsopp at her parents Kent home. After the day Jacquetta was shot in her dress by renowned photographer Adam Whitehead in a series of stunning black and white images. These images can be seen below and also around the bridal suites at both our Mayfair Flagship and our newly relaunched Colville Mews Boutique in Notting Hill.
